Free services throughout the day. Sales Stands.

Buses Festival at the British Motor Museum, CV35 OBJ (near Jct 12 M40).

Organised by BUSES Magazine, Key Publishing and Bus and Coach Preservation.

Supported by Omnibus Solutions.

Classic and modern buses and coaches. Heritage bus rides. Sales Stands. Hard standing, free parking, disabled access and catering.

Admission charge includes access to the British Motor Museum.

Celebrating the vehicles and liveries of the Walsall, West Bromwich, Wolverhampton and Coventry fleets absorbed by West Midlands PTE in 1969 and 1974.

Day will include Happy Hour with back-to-back services running between Wythall and Maypole. Miniature railway will be running.

Transport Links: Museum bus 750 from Holloway Circus (Suffolk Street Queensway by New Alexandra Theatre), Birmingham City Centre 10.30 and Maypole 10.50. Return journey leaves the museum at 15.00. Earlier journeys connect with city bound commercial buses. 25/30 minute walk from Wythall Railway Station on Birmingham - Stafford Shakespeare Line.

Marks the 40th anniversary of the break up of the original Midland Red into six new companies at the points of the Midland companies: Midland Red North, South, East and West.

BMMO CM6T motorway express coach and underfloor-engined D10 double deck prototype will be running along with a wide range of Midland Red vehicles from across the decades.
